Class 7230

Code 7230 applies to employers exclusively performing delivery of merchandise from retail stores to the stores' customers. There is no size or weight requirement for types of goods that are delivered. To qualify for Code 7230, an employer must not perform general trucking activities such as the delivery of goods for the public at large. Refer to Code 7219 or other trucking classifications that may be appropriate for this type of service. Code 7230 includes miscellaneous employees such as terminal or garage employees. Refer to Code 7219 for classification procedures for dispatchers.
