The following is a timeline of the 2010 Rate Filing Process with links to the underlying documents.
MARCH
03/01/2010 - The WCRIBMA submits a Rate Filing (Filing), proposing a 4.5% increase in average rates for industrial classes and a 20.0% increase for F-Classes. The WCRIBMA files no change to expense constants. The proposed effective date of this filing is September 1, 2010.
03/02/2010 - Circular announces submission of the Rate Filing (Circular Letter #2141).
03/04/2010 - The Office of the Attorney General submits a notice of intent to appear and participate as a statutory intervenor (Notice).
03/16/2010 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with the Notice of Hearing and a Pending Premium Change Endorsement (Circular Letter #2143).
MAY
05/11/2010 - The WCRIBMA, State Rating Bureau and the Office of the Attorney General sign a stipulation which includes an overall average rate decrease of 2.4% and a 20.0% increase for F-Classes (Stipulation).
05/12/2010 - The Commissioner of Insurance approves the Stipulation. The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with a copy of the Commissioner's Decision and the Stipulation (Circular Letter #2149). The filing exhibits have been revised to reflect the stipulation (Filing Exhibits Revised with Stipulation).
JUNE
06/02/2010 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with Changes in Manual Rates by Class and Effects of September 1, 2010 Rate Change (Circular Letter #2151).
06/02/2010 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with Manual Rates and Rating Values effective September 1, 2010 (Circular Letter #2152).
06/15/2010 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with the revised Guidelines for Workers' Compensation Rate Deviation Filings (Circular Letter #2153).
06/22/2010 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with Further Guidance Regarding Workers' Compensation Rate Deviation Filings (Circular Letter #2154).
SEPTEMBER
09/01/2010 - New Rates and Rating Values become effective.
