The following is a timeline of the 2018 Rate Filing Process with links to the underlying documents.
DECEMBER
12/22/2017 - The WCRIBMA submits a Rate Filing (Filing) to the Division of Insurance on behalf of its members recommending an 11.1% decrease in average rates for industrial classes and an 11.5% decrease for F-Classes. The WCRIBMA filed no change to expense constants. The proposed effective date of this filing is July 1, 2018.
12/22/2017 - Circular announces submission of the Rate Filing and a Pending Premium Change Endorsement (Circular Letter #2326).
JANUARY
01/08/2018 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with the Notice of Hearing (Circular Letter #2327).
MARCH
03/21/2018 - The Commissioner of Insurance approves the stipulation (Decision and Order). The filing exhibits have been revised to reflect the stipulation (Filing Exhibits Revised with Stipulation).
03/23/2018 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular announcing the general revision of rates (Circular Letter #2328).
03/26/2018 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with Changes in Manual Rates by Class and Effects of July 1, 2018 Rate Change (Circular Letter #2329).
03/26/2018 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with Manual Rates and Rating Values effective July 1, 2018 (Circular Letter #2330).
03/28/2018 - Addendum to the Decision and Order of March 21, 2018 is issued by the DOI (Addendum to Decision).
03/29/2018 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with Guidelines for Workers' Compensation Rate Deviation Filings (Circular Letter #2332).
