The following is a timeline of the 2016 Rate Filing Process with links to the underlying documents.
DECEMBER
12/23/2015 - The WCRIBMA submits a Rate Filing (Filing) to the Division of Insurance on behalf of its members recommending a 6.4% increase in average rates for industrial classes and an 8.8% decrease for F-Classes. The WCRIBMA files no change to expense constants. The proposed effective date of this filing is July 1, 2016.
12/23/2015 - Circular announces submission of the Rate Filing and a Pending Premium Change Endorsement(Circular Letter #2271).
12/23/2015 - Circular announces instructions from the Division of Insurance that outline the filing requirements for company rate deviation filings that are currently in effect.(Circular Letter #2272).
JANUARY
01/07/2016 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with the Notice of Hearing (Circular Letter #2275).
01/14/2016 - The Attorney General submits notice of intent to participate as a statutory intervenor (Notice).
FEBRUARY
2/10/2016 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with the revised Guidelines for Workers' Compensation Rate Deviation Filings (Circular Letter #2276).
APRIL
4/20/2016 - The Commissioner of Insurance approves the stipulation. The WCRIBMA issue a Circular with a copy of the Commissioners' Decision and the Stipulation (Circular Letter #2279). The filing exhibits have been revised to reflect the stipulation (Filing Exhibits Revised with Stipulation).
04/21/2016 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with Changes in Manual Rates by Class and Effects of July 1, 2016 Rate Change (Circular Letter #2280, Excel Comparison by Class).
04/21/2016 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with Manual Rates and Rating Values effective July 1, 2016 (Circular Letter 2281).
04/26/2016 - The WCRIBMA issues a Circular with a reminder on the filing requirements for Rate Deviation Filings (Circular Letter 2282).
